A very rare Eickhorn "Prinz Eugen" model SS officer's saber in the silver-finish version. The gold versionwhich is far more commonis often mistakenly attributed to the SS, whereas it was issued exclusively to Heer (Army) officers; only the version with the silver-finish hilt was issued to SS officers. The blade requires light cleaning. The hilt is in good condition. The scabbard retains nearly 100% of its lacquer finish. Hard to find. Masterpiece of a collection. VGC.
