Description
Produced in very limited numbers starting in 1933, it is distinguished by the "Model 1929" grip eagle and the specific typeface used for the engraved motto. Furthermore, the scabbard is non-magnetic, made of brown-anodized copper (rather than the steel used in later versions). The dagger and scabbard fittings are made of nickel silver. The example we are offering is flawless; it was purchased in Germany ten years ago for an astronomical sum. It is found in very few collections. (See *Les dagues de la SA Sturmabteilung*, pages 815.)
