Feldgrau cotton canvas uniform set comprising: a single-breast-pocket jacket designed to be tucked into the trousers, to which it attaches via a series of five buttons around the waist. The pocket cut is typical of KM canvas uniforms (see jackets ref. HN065 and HN066, also listed today). Woven breast eagle in yellow on a dark green background. Manufacturer's marking. Size 2. Shows signs of having had shoulder boards attached. Numerous period photographs exist showing these canvas jackets worn with one breast pocket, two pockets, or no pockets at all. A distinctive feature of these uniforms is that the jacket buttons inside the trousers, creating the misleading impression that it is a blouson-style jacket. Perfectly matching trousersbearing the same markingsfeaturing five button tabs for attachment to the jacket. The set is in magnificent condition.
