Gorgeous and very searched master piece of Eickhorn catalog, #1765, worn by army officers aswell as by SS officers. See Angolia 'Swords of Germany 1900/1945' page 82. This particular sample retains almost 100% of gold plating to the handle, which is exceptional. Hard to find in this condition. VGC.
